The space

The Space

The living area is warm and inviting. The authentic character of the house has been carefully preserved, with a beautiful blend of stone walls, wood, a fireplace, and exposed beams, creating a charming and welcoming atmosphere.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for those who enjoy cooking and sharing meals together.

The two bedrooms, particularly comfortable, each feature:
a private bathroom (sink, shower and toilet)
a large double bed with new, high-quality bedding

The landing area can accommodate one or two additional guests thanks to a sofa bed (160 cm when unfolded). A curtain system allows this space to be separated, creating a private and comfortable sleeping area.

During the warmer months, the small enclosed courtyard becomes a pleasant outdoor living space. Equipped with garden furniture, it offers a sunny terrace perfect for enjoying meals outside.

The Neighborhood
The gîte is located in the charming village of Gintrac, with views of the Ruines de Taillefer.
Many remarkable sites in the Lot are less than 10 minutes away, including:
the spectacular Gouffre de Padirac
the castles of Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux and Château de Montal
the Atelier-musée Jean Lurçat

You can also discover three of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France” located about 10 minutes away:

Just a short distance from the Dordogne River, you can enjoy beautiful hiking trails, one of which passes right below the house.

And during the summer, you can cool off at Lac de Tauriac, less than 10 minutes away, or enjoy swimming and activities on the Dordogne River only 5 minutes from the gîte
